How to Cite a YouTube Video
How to Cite a YouTube Video
Author’s last name, First name (if available). "Title of the Video." Name of the Website [YouTube], Date of content, URL of page.
Example:
Information about the possibility of life in outer space from a video on YouTube
Grades 6-8
This is what goes in your Works Cited:
"Weirdest Planets and Possibility of Life in Outer Space." YouTube, 2015, www.youtube.com/watch?v=w11Ack5xKTM.
(In this example, YouTube does not supply an individual author for this content, so you skip that part and move straight to the title of the video)
